Psalm 8:1 What
is man,
that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
It is a wonder to realize that God
really cares for each one of us. As I observe events on the media where 100’s
of 1000’s of people are gathered together, I wonder how God can care and love
each one of them individually. That He is mindful of what is happening in each
one of their lives. How great is our God, how excellent is His name. Made from
the dust of the earth and the breath of God, we our His special creation. From
generation to generation, He comes to meet with us. What is man that He
would send is only begotten Son to walk and live among us, to give His life for
the sin all humanity. What is man that He would seek each one of us out
and pay special attention to what we need or desire. We are not deserving of
His love and grace, but His love reaches everyone of us where we are and
stretches out His hand out to you and to me. “O Lord our Lord, how excellent is
thy name on earth!”
