His Love Never Fails

 Lamentations 3:22-23
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness
God’s Love never fails. He is faithful to love us regardless how often we have failed Him. He is faithful to call us back into the light of His presence. He will not give up on us, His faithfulness reaches out to us even when we turn away from Him. Like the prodigal son, we may decide to go our own way and waste our life with the pleasures of sin. But, the Father waits faithfully for the son to return. He never stops loving His son, and with open arms is ready to embrace the return of His son. It is not too late to return to the Father. As long as we have breath, His judgment stays. His mercy continues to extend to everyone who will turn from their own ways and turn to Him confessing their need. We, like sheep, have gone astray, and have turned to our own ways. Great is His faithfulness to love us unconditionally.

He Is Faithful

 Lamentations 3: 23, 25
They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
The Lord is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeks him.
He is faithful each morning to extend His mercy to us. It is a new day and God’s mercy never runs out, even though we have sinned and owe a debt we cannot pay, His mercy fails not to see our condition and hopelessness. How great is the mercy of God. It may seem that He has left us, but we must wait on Him and trust Him to take care of us. We don’t deserve His mercy, but He has  chosen us and our hope is in Him. Even though we may fail, He desires that we remain faithful and keep our trust in Him. He will not leave us or forsake us, as long as we continue to call upon Him and put our faith in His faithfulness to guide and direct us, He will keep His promise.

Staying Faithful

Jer.3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you:…

Israel struggled with staying faithful to their God. They would become complacent in their faith and the temptations that the heathen world flaunted was often too much to resist. They set for us an example today, if we fail to keep our love and commitment to Christ fresh and alive, unfaithfulness to the one we once loved is possible. It is not the will of God that we wander away from Him and His ways. Staying committed to Christ requires diligence and determination to keep the fires burning in our life. It is easy to let the things of this world pull us down and forget the commitment we made to Him the day we gave our lives to Him. The day we married Christ, we committed ourselves to be faithful and to follow Him wherever He leads. He has promise that even in our wandering, He will continue to call us to return. His heart breaks when we forsake His ways and turn away from His love. It is never too late to turn back to God. His arms are wide open and ready for us to recommit our ways to Him. Turn back my child, He loves you with an everlasting love.

He is Faithful

1 Thess 5:23,24 …your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless…Faithful is he that calls you, who also will do it.

Standing before God without blame. Without guilt or fault seems like an impossibility considering our human frailties. We are so prone to give in to our human weakness and taking sides against ourselves does not come natural. God has called us to live a life that is without sin. It is a standard that seems to be unreachable considering the world we live in with all the bad influences we are surrounded with each day. How is this possible? Is it just something we strive for, or is it a life we can actually live? The scripture indicates that such a life is possible only when we submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit. The Spirit leads and empowers the believer to trust in God and guides them into truth. If we quench not the Spirit, He is faithful to keep us blameless, without spot or wrinkled. It is the blood of Christ that atones for our sin, but our will must stay submitting when the Spirit leads us. To refuse the Spirits, is to quench the Spirit. The Faithfulness of God will always be there, but we must believe that He is faithful.

Keeping The Faith

2 Tim 4:7 “ I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I have kept the faith.”-
A testimony of perseverance, victory, and faithfulness. The battles of life are not easy, Paul faced things in his life that required him to stand up and fight. Fighting the good fight of faith, holding on to truth no matter what the world says or does. Standing up for what is right and doing what we can to share the gospel of Christ. We can know that we are doing and completing the work that God has given us. He puts all of us on a journey, a course, and there is a finish line. None of us know for sure when that time will come, but we can be confident that the purpose of God has been fulfilled. As we approach the coming of Christ for His bride, we can believe that God the father has all things under His control, we believe the Jesus will walk with us even in the most difficult times, and we believe the Holy Spirit can keep us from being led astray and lead us into all truth. Keeping the faith in the One and only true God. We believe! we have kept the faith!
