He Is All I Need

 2 Sam 22:3

The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior…

He is all we need in times of trouble and distress. We are more than conquerors through the help of the Holy Spirit. We not only are protected by all that is evil through the blood of Christ, but we have not only overcome the enemy, but we are victors over sin and the devil. He is the horn of our salvation. “The horn of salvation symbolizes not only strength to help, but victory over sin.   Forgiveness of sin, the strength of God through all Jesus accomplished on the cross and resurrection, gives overcoming power and triumph to the child of God.  Not only over sin but strength to achieve daily tasks and energy to do more than we think we can.”-(wordimpartation.com

Power of the Holy Spirit

 Roman 15:13
The God of hope fills you with all joy and peace in believing that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Living the Christian life can only be done through the power of the Holy Spirit. In our humanity, we can set our will and determination to do right and live justly, but living with hope and being filled with peace during times of hardship, uncertainty, and tribulation is made possible only through the power of the Spirit. Calling upon His power is made accessible to us as we keep our relationship with Him open. We walk in His word, we talk daily with Him as we go about our daily routines. The power of the Holy Spirit is made available to believers to live victorious and overcome unrest and discouragement. Call upon the Holy Spirit. Let Him fill you with love, peace and joy.

Triumph In Christ

2 Corith 2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ

We all like to be winners and no one likes to lose. Whether we are the players or spectators, we want to come through victorious. Being on the winning side of a sports or game activity is short lived and the emotion of triumph soon dissipates. There is never a guarantee that we will win again the next time we play. Such is not the case when we fight or battle for the cause of Christ. Christ, our general and chief is leading the battle and He is undefeated and has never lost a battle. As followers of Him, we also can be triumphed in our fight against sin, our battles or temptations, and victorious during troubled times. At the end of life, we can look back and see through every trial and hardship, Christ was there to carry us through, He was there to fight for us. There is victory in Jesus, He will go before us, and we will raise our hands in victory when we cross on the other side.

Triumph in Christ

2 Corinth 2:14 “ Now thanks be unto God, who always causeth us to triumph in Christ and who maketh manifest through us the savor of His knowledge in every place.”

To triumph is to achieve victory which causes us to shout with joy and satisfaction. The joy of victory is manifested by our spirit as others see that it is Christ who gives the victory. Success in life comes when we allow Christ to work through us and in us. The actions we manifest shows others that we have been with Christ. His life is lived through us and we smell of His fragrance in every place we go. The way we treat others, the kindness we show when we are treated wrongly. It is God that causes us to be sweet when the carnal self desires to lash out. Our behavior and actions speak louder than words. It is the true essence of who we really are. To be victorious, we allow Christ to be our savor in every situation and place we go.
