Isaiah 26:3.4
You keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusteth in You..Trust in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD God is everlasting strength.

The human mind is filled with thoughts that can distract us from what is essential to keeping us from having perfect peace. We fret and worry about many things that happen in life. Things that affect the way we feel and respond to the surrounding circumstances. Even as we sleep, we wake up, thinking of the problems that keep our minds in turmoil. How does one have perfect peace when the cares of life press in relentlessly? Having perfect peace does not mean that all the problems of life are absent. It does not mean your life is free of stress, pain, or difficult events. Instead, having perfect peace is to anchor your thoughts on someone bigger than you, to put your complete trust in the Lord who is all sufficient to give peace and grace in times of trouble. Because we put our trust in the Lord, we can maintain clarity, emotional resilience, and calm even while dealing with responsibilities or living in a world that is chaotic. There are many things that may weigh heavily on our hearts and are out of our control to do anything about them, but we serve a mighty God who is able to give us the assurance that He has it all under control and can give us perfect peace when such peace seems to be out of our reach. Who can give perfect peace? It is Jesus, He’s the One!
